The CNBC of news and what I would like CNN to be like. Diverse and independent news holding up humanist values and tolerance are the fundament of freedom and democracy. The least I can do is give them a thumbs up by rating them.
Please remove the ads! also Please include videos with the news articles!
Absolutely love this app. Great live video quality and it also goes to full screen mode. Some folks seem to have issues switching to French which I havent tried but in English it works perfectly! Highly recommend it....
Worked great until the last App update, afterwards impossible to watch the News anymore, only access to live streaming... What a pity for an update which just brought an advertisement page at lhe app launch...
I live in Japan and I have not been able to watch any TV live yet. On my iPad 1, all I ever get is a spinning wheel that spins and spins forever. Other live TV apps such as Al Jazeera and NHK World work flawlessly. I trashed the app, reloaded it, to no effect. this has been going on for me since my first install 2 weeks ago. Anybody with the same problem, or is it the app itself? Ne fonctionne pas pour moi à Tokyo (iPad 1)! UPDATE : THis application now works well for me here in Japan. Just wait a few seconds for the wheel to stop spinning, which it did not do before! The reception is of very good quality (HD with rare drops), and the application works only in landscape mode. So i am happy to retract my rating and give it a deserved 4 stars. Thank you France 24!

Some bad moments

Not only is this the worst example of tabloid news masked, but ads are everywhere on this app. Whenever you change from business to sport or any news category you are subjected to a 30 second ad, thats when it works, as it has a tendency to crash regularly.
Theres no back button which makes the navigation really uneasy. Please, just add a back button in a top corner like basically every app on iOS.
Information très formaté, donc sand grand intérêt. La pub intrusive rend lutilisation pénible. Bye bye France 24 !
On ipad 2, with dual core, stable 16000 kbit bandwidth, where bandwidth sensitiv players like medici tv, zattoo !hiq! bloomberg ipad app streaming in hd, the france 24 doesnt even come close to moving pictures
I have used France 24 on my computer since its inception but this app is a problem, the video just will not play smoothly, just stops and freezes. Please fix then it will be my prime news source.
The live stream in English is so glitchy. It will be fine for about 5 seconds, the. Starts getting choppy with a refresh rate of around 2 seconds. The old app was better. Also, when watching a video, having the status bar appear on top is so annoying because you cant make it go away!
